Management Planning

It is recommended that a user complete Management Planning, AFC Documentation, Operating Profile and Record Book for a single vessel, to understand the workflows and the interconnections between the portal sections. For example, all planned activities as user defined in the Planned Niche Management table will need corresponding record and evidence that the plan is being adhered too.

If you would like a pictorial guide on setting up a complete profile from scratch see our Vessel Check Guide for New Vessel Managers.

Actions

External Niche Management Actions

The external niche management actions are based on IMO Guidelines.

There are currently 2 Dry-dock actions, it is recommended to only use the Dry-dock Cleaning action for consistency, efficiency and ease of Record keeping.

The UWILD (non-IMS) action does not specifically relate to hull and niche inspections for biofouling.  The UWILD action does not influence the risk scores.  If, during a UWILD, certain, specific or all niches have been inspected for biofouling and noted in the report – use the In-water Inspection action and select the appropriate niches.
